Closest real bead colors

For each color, the nearest standard solid color from four brands, matched by perceived color difference (CIEDE2000). ≈ marks a loose match: that brand has no really close color. Glow-in-the-dark, transparent, neon and metallic beads are not suggested.

Color values are community reference data (maxcleme/beadcolors, MIT license), not official brand data. Screens and bead batches differ, so compare with your own beads before you buy a lot.

How to make it

1. Lay the pegboards out and place beads row by row, following the chart. Starting from one corner keeps counting easy.
2. Cover the beads with ironing paper (or baking paper).
3. Iron on medium heat with no steam, moving in small circles for 10–20 seconds until the beads fuse.
4. Let it cool, lift it off the pegboard, then iron the other side lightly if you like.
5. Put a heavy book on it while it cools so it stays flat.

Kids should iron with an adult. Small beads are a choking hazard for children under 3.
